Courses

NASODA'S educational program is structured into three categories to equip artisans with foundation basics, and to then develop their techniques to master class level.

Core Curriculum

Focusing on basics and fundamentals, Core Curriculum classes are taught by NASODA staff, including Michele Santilli and Sharon Drewett.

Continuing Education Classes

Learn from industry greats. Continuing Education Classes are led by Associate Master Instructors who come to NASODA from around the world to advance students beyond the core offerings.

Certificate of Initial Mastery

Students who successfully complete this course will receive NASODA'S prestigious Certificate of Initial Mastery. The 10-week course is held one week per month from February to November. The program includes advanced techniques and concepts in preparation and base coat painting, classical wall glazing and patinas, ornamentation and trompe l’oeil techniques, marbles and stone, woodgraining, exotic finishes, color theory, perspective drawing, gilding and more.
